BOZEMAN, Mont. – Governor-elect Greg Gianforte today helped pack and distribute Thanksgiving boxes at the Gallatin Valley Food Bank.

“Montana is fortunate to have an incredible network of food banks that marshal resources to assist Montanans in need – but to get the job done, they need our help,” Governor-elect Gianforte said. “This holiday season, I’d encourage my fellow Montanans to volunteer, donate food, or write a check if you’re able so that we don’t have anyone hungry over Thanksgiving.”
Jill Holder, Executive Director of the Gallatin Valley Food Bank, added, “We are seeing a great need. What we want to make sure is that everyone has food for Thanksgiving. It’s a great time to help, and it’s a great teaching moment – that we all need help every once in a while.”
