BOZEMAN, Mont. – To mark Giving Tuesday, Governor-elect Greg Gianforte released a video statement encouraging Montanans to support a charitable organization, help out a neighbor, and lift up those who need it most this holiday season.

Helping our neighbors is what we do as Montanans. We’ve seen it this year in the selflessness of our front line health care workers, the heroism of our first responders, the resolve of our law enforcement, and the ingenuity of our educators. We see it every day in the Montanans who stop to help change a flat tire or shovel their neighbor’s driveway. Lending a hand is how we do it here in Montana, and this Giving Tuesday is no different. Whether it’s giving your time or your resources, I hope you’ll consider supporting a charitable organization, helping your neighbor, and lifting up those who need it most.
